About Tokyo Buffet & Grill
Located at 5316 Clyde Park Ave SW Ste N, Wyoming, MI 49509, Tokyo Buffet & Grill operates as a pizza buffet serving Wyoming in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Wyoming, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Michigan on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

We were there last week. They had a sushi bar, chinese dessert bar, shrimp, pork, chicken options, all the things you expect but they also have like, pineapple chicken, black pepper chicken, that kind of thing. Delicious food overall. It's pretty clean, for a high volume buffet. Floors were pretty sticky... and they're usually busy when we go so stock gets rotated frequently. The orange chicken is a bit spicier than average but not spicier than jalapenos. The whole mushrooms were still a little crunchy in the middle, slightly undercooked. Runs about 13-15 bucks AYCE depending on how old you are, though my complaint would be that they don't always label their food correctly. I had to ask multiple times what kind of filling something like an egg roll or dumpling was stuffed with. My family has a shellfish allergy (I have a sensitivity not an allergy) so I have to be careful, you can develop them without knowing if you're predisposed. Weird thing though. The overhead playlist was _just_ Michael Jackson. We were there about 45 minutes and it was nonstop MJ... So if you hate MJ... IDK maybe skip it lol. Some instrumental background music would do wonders for the atmosphere here.

Flavor of food does not match the price. Service fell behind on gathering empty plates despite having plenty of help - enough help to have a towel twirling competition in the corner. They do have a pretty decent selection but the over cooked crab and claws could be taken off the menu to help with the price. They offer sushi, oddly it all tastes pretty much the same. They also have a hibachi. Although everything on there is pretty much available on the lines, so there isn't a point to do it. I will say I am glad that the place has fallen out of the constant cycle of being condemned due to rodent infestation. Glad the new ownership has rectified that.

You will want to eat here! The place is super clean, and the food is great. Unlike many other places, they even have hand sanitizer available before grabbing food, along with gloves if you do not want to touch the serving spoons, which I really appreciated. Shoutout to Daisy and Sunny!! Sunny was AWESOME at the sushi bar and even made us a special roll β€οΈ

Ordered a whole meal for my family, a bento box, Cream Cheese Rangoon, Honey Chicken, and fried rice, what I got? Sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. When I called the store TWICE the host hung up on me BOTH times. When I asked for the manager the third time. I could hear her talking to the manager, Michael in the back and them avoiding me. That tells me they KNOW they sent the wrong food. Heard the hostess even ask if she wanted Michael to have her tell me he wasn't there. COULD HEAR THE WHOLE THING AND TOLD HER THAT AND WAS HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN

Whenever weβre in town, we like to stop at Tokyo. We have never left disappointed. It can get a bit busy at times. Itβs best to try to get in there as soon as they open especially on Sunday. The staff is very friendly and keep the place clean. The hibachi grill has a great menu to choose from. The Sushi Bar has a wonderful selection. this is an all-around good buffet.
